Description

I'm happy to announce that RPG-Creatures is now available as a book, well as an eBook anyway.

Right now, let's look at what the 145 pages 'RPG-Creatures - Bestiary I' as PDF has to offer:

* 9 book exclusive creatures, which I will never post anywhere online, plus the initial 45 from the blog, for a total of 54 original creatures.
* 54 full-page color illustrations of the creatures
* A thumbnailed interactive 'Table of Contents', linked directly to the creature images and descriptions, and quick access to the TOC from most pages of the book.
* An alphabetical index of the creatures.
* A two-page text of introduction
* A two-page guide to the stats
* A well balanced lay-out and design (for a much improved presentation)
* A fine piece of cover art
* Three additional interior color illustrations, and one piece of b&w collage of creatures (sketches) that never made it to the bestiary.
* A hundred tiny and sometimes big corrections of language, grammar, and spelling (which now is fully American spelling btw, since that's where the biggest audience is...so far.)
* Many small improvements to, and corrections of, the stats of some creatures.

It is available right now for $9.50 at RPGNow, where you can also check out a full-size preview. [link]

That's it. If you want more - get the book! Otherwise, keep watching the blog. : )

Or visit the RPG Creatures facebook page [link], which is now active. I often feel like sharing minor things that don't deserve a full entry in the bestiary, and from now on the facebook page will be the main place for such buzz. I also intend to discuss the artistical aspects of creature design in further detail there. Hopefully it will allow interactivity on a more personal level, seeing how the the Blogger comment tool is such a... not perfect. The RPG Creatures blog [link] will still be the only place online with full creature presentations.

(If you have an active blog or any web-page with a good audience, and wish to make a review, you may contact me for a free reviewer's copy of the eBook.)

Now where is that release-party?
