Something to think about again by Cloister Something to think about again by Cloister
"The reason that can be reasoned is not the eternal Reason.
The name that can be named is not the eternal Name.
The Unameable is of heaven and earth the beginning.
The Nameable becomes of the ten thousand things the mother.
Therefore it is said:

'He who desireless is found
The spiritual of the world will sound.
But he who by desire is bound
Sees the mere shell of things around.'

These two things are the same in source
but different in name.
Their sameness is called a mystery.
Indeed, it is the mystery of mysteries.
It is the door of all spirituality. "

(Lao-Tzu 6th century BCE)

"so that they may all be one. Just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be one in us..." (John 17:21)

Up to cutting the wood I agree, after that, I don't, but still a nice concept, and the last question: What do people and a bookshelf in common? Everything but the arrangement and amount of quarks and electrons.

A human being consists of water - some 60% or more. The water enters through the mouth and leaves the body as sweat, urine and poo - a daily process. At which stage in this process does the water (H2O) become part of the object/concept called human being?

If trees = Nature, and Nature = Universe then:

Me and my bookshelves... Hmmm... We are both worn out. And we can only take so much weight. Yes. That's it.

I just hope that wasnt something like
" Try to live without bookshells, you tree murderers. "

Yeah I know this was just my interpretation of the presentation of the discussion, in the context of finding a solution to the thought of... ... *continues* :D

But I like to use brainsections that are usually left in the dust.
Thx for this artwork.
